Cookie Usage Policy

1. What are "cookies"?
Cookies are understood as IT data, in particular text files, stored on users' end devices for the purpose of using websites. These files allow the user’s device to be recognized and the website to be displayed in a way tailored to individual preferences. Cookies typically contain the name of the website they come from, the duration of storage on the end device, and a unique number. They do not contain any personal data.

2. What do we use "cookies" for?
Cookies are used to adjust the content of websites to the user's preferences and to optimize the use of websites. They are also used to create anonymous, aggregated statistics that help to understand how the user interacts with websites, enabling improvements to their structure and content.

3. What types of "cookies" do we use?
We use four main types of cookies - "session," "persistent," and "google-analytics.com." The first type is "temporary cookies," which remain on the user's device until the web browser is closed. "Persistent cookies" remain on the user’s device for a set period as specified in the cookie parameters or until manually deleted by the user. "Google-analytics.com" cookies are used to collect statistics for our websites. The exact operation and privacy policy for these can be found here.

4. Deleting "cookies"
By default, web browsing software allows cookies to be stored on the end device. These settings can be changed to block automatic handling of cookies in the web browser settings. Detailed information on the options and methods of handling cookies is available in the web browser settings. Limiting the use of cookies may impact certain functionalities available on the website.
